Where Should I start Looking for the Basic Symptoms of an Anxiety Disorder

Symptoms of an anxiety disorder can be broken down into two things. Physical symptoms, and emotional symptoms. Most of the time, the emotional symptoms trigger the physical ones, (everyone is different, but this is generally how it works).

So how does the cycle work?
 - something will cause a strong emotion of anxiety
 - that anxiety will be so stressful on your body that you will begin to see physical signs of it (insomnia, anxiety attacks, headaches, etc.)
 - in turn, those physical reactions will cause you to become even more anxious.

It quickly turns into a vicious cycle and if you are dealing with this, then you know it does not feel like it will ever end.

TIP - keep a log of how many times you deal with major anxiety each month. Also mark your physical and emotional signs and if you are having anxiety attacks. You will find that over time you can usually detect a pattern of when your anxiety is at it's highest. This will help you get a game plan together of how to combat it.
